Christmas on Campus
T’was the night before Christmas and all over campus, the dorms were all closed, and the students had left us. But that didn’t stop St. Paul’s Lutheran Chapel from holding Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services.
On Christmas Eve the congregation and many international friends gathered for a service of Lessons and Carols. We were blessed to have many of the younger members of chapel share their vocal and instrumental talents. The highlight of the evening was to hear, once again, the good news of a great joy that will be for all the people: “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
On Christmas Day the congregation gathered for the Divine Service and joined their voices with those of the angels singing, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!"
