St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Delaware


Rev. Donald R. Krause was ordained and installed as Pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Delaware on Sunday, January 24th. He is a recent graduate of Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, IN.

Pastor Krause was born in Ripon, Wisconsin and raised on a small farm with one brother. He and his family were active members of their church. While in high school he considered going into the minstry, but decided to attend Stevens Point University and then Moraine Park Technical College where he graduated with a degree in Manufacturing Engineering.

Rev. Krause married his high school sweet heart, Denita Miller. She was born in Ottumwa. They have three daughters and six grandchildren who all live within 20 miles of each other in Wisconsin.

While serving as an Elder at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Auroraville, WI Rev. Krause was called by our Lord to go into the Ministry. He sold his business and home and moved to Ft. Wayne.

After three years of graduate school and one year of vicarage at Trinity Lutheran of Wellsville, MO he recceived his Masters of Divinity.
