Each year Rev. Versemann of St. John Lutheran Church in Waverly holds Basic Christianity classes for anyone interested in attending. These 12 week classes are held on Sunday evening for a hour and a quarter. This winter, Rev. Versemann had 26 people participating, 16 of them non-members. The congregation provided snacks and babysitters. This was Rev. Versemann's 40th class since entering the ministry in 1991. IDE
