(June 27, 2012) As a part of Davenport’s annual Salute to Seniors, two extraordinary people were added to the Senior Hall of Fame. Bob and Lu Wiese of Eldridge IA were chosen for their lifelong dedication to serving their community. Davenport Mayor, Bill Gluba addressed a full-house at the reception held at the Davenport Library. Eldridge Mayor, Marty O’Boyle presented the award to the Wiese’s and outlined the many reasons why Bob & Lu were this year’s honorees.
