On July 16, the children of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Coralville, along with many friends, gathered for VBS. The theme, "Walking With Jesus," focused on Jesus Christ saving us from our sins and death. Studying Scriptures, the students looked at art work and then made their own. On the sidewalk, where the world could see, the children proclaimed Jesus in their own masterpieces. Along with games, food, and some warm weather, the day was enjoyed by all and, on Sunday morning, the first people too see the artwork were those arriving at church for worship.
