Second semester is off to a great start! CHLC college students hosted area high school students for our annual ‘High School Weekend’. It was a blast – filled with games, food, UNI’s Wellness Center, little sleep, and devotions. We cannot wait for them to come again next year!
We were also honored to have Pastor Chris Lockie lead our Wednesday Bible study a few weeks ago. We continued to learn and discuss Romans. It was fun getting to see his family and really dig into a few chapters of Romans.
Next up… dinner theater! CHLC college students are gearing up for this years’ production entitled ‘Broadway’. There will be two different shows, Friday, February 11, and Saturday, February 12. The main dish will be baked ziti with a few sides and a yummy dessert! The proceeds from these two shows will go to support CHLC college students’ spring break mission trip to Alabama the week of March 14. We will be working on Habitat for Humanity houses and doing lots of other work.
