Immanuel Lutheran Church in Fairfield

Immanuel Lutheran Church's Weekday classes, along with Jefferson County Right to Life (JCRTL) organization, erected crosses representing the 135 lives lost to abortion every hour in the United States. After placing the crosses, JCRTL served walking tacos to the 38 helpers. The confirmation class and adults then heard a speaker from Heartland Pregnancy Center in Ottumwa tell of the work they do to assist in crisis pregnancies. The crosses will be up until November 4th to give witness to the value of each life to our Lord.
