Camp IO-DIS-E-CA

Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca is pleased to offer a scholarship for one camper to
attend “LutherCamp,” a week-long camp for Lutheran teens and young
adults in Wittenberg, Germany. Two generous donors have offered to
cover the cost of the camp registration and $300 toward
transportation costs.

Conducted by the Independent Evangelical Lutheran Church, an LCMS
partner church known by its German acronym, SELK,"LutherCamp" is set
for July 30-Aug. in a campground on the Elbe River for young people
ages 16 to 29 from all over the world.

LutherCamp 2010 includes tours to local Luther sites, Luther's home;
the City Church where Luther preached; the Castle Church where he
posted his 95 theses; and the house of Luther's co-worker, Philipp
Melanchthon as well as canoeing, swimming, and biking, Bible studies
and worship.

The Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca scholarship covers registration, accommodations,
meals, entrance and excursion fees, and $300 for travel expenses.
